Safeguarding Children Week June 2020
The Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Children Partnership (RBSCP) is holding its first ever virtual Safeguarding Children Awareness Week 15 – 21 June 2020.
Safeguarding really is ‘everyone’s business’ and it is a responsibility we all share here in Rochdale.
The week is focusing on three key safeguarding themes: child neglect, the impact of domestic abuse on children and safer sleep advice for babies.
As part of the week, the partnership had planned to have a packed programme of face to face activities, events and training to raise awareness of safeguarding and highlight local support available; covid-19 has meant that such events are now not possible at this time.
We hope to be position to hold a more interactive week later in 2020.
